Communication and Collaboration Foster Growth

By Dr. Katzen

As Chief Medical Editor of the premier issue of Endovascular Today, I am truly excited to introduce you to a new and unique publication dedicated to exploring and advancing the evolving field of endovascular therapies.
This arena is fast becoming a field in which multiple specialities contribute—a situation not often seen in other branches of medicine. The diversity of endovascular specialists is reflected in the makeup of our editorial board as well as our lineup of authors and articles. We are dedicated to serving radiologists, vascular surgeons, and cardiologists equally and welcome your comments regarding how best to achieve this balance.
The mission of Endovascular Today is to foster education of the endovascular specialist and to help bridge the gap that separates the disciplines participating in endovascular therapies. Communication and collaboration are key components to developing any cutting-edge technology; Endovascular Today will encourage growth in our field by providing a centralized forum for cross-specialty learning and dialogue.

Dr. Katzen is the Chief Medical Editor for this first issue. The position will rotate regularly among our three Chief Medical Editors.
