Balt's Titan Aspiration Catheter Receives CE Mark Approval

 

May 13, 2019—Balt USA, LLC announced that it has obtained European CE Mark approval for its Titan aspiration catheter. The Titan catheter line consists of a highly navigable, large-bore (0.070-inch) aspiration catheter and a smaller-bore (0.036-inch) catheter for navigation and support.

With CE Mark approval, Titan joins Balt's stroke portfolio, which includes the CatchView revascularization stent, Vasco catheter, Ballast long sheath, and Hybrid guidewire.

The Titan aspiration catheter, CatchView revascularization stent, and Vasco catheter are not cleared or approved for sale in the United States, advised the company.
