SNIS Plans for Virtual Annual Meeting After Canceling San Diego Conference
May 13, 2020—Richard P. Klucznik, MD, President of the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS), announced in a letter to members that the society's Board of Directors has decided to cancel the SNIS 17th Annual Meeting as a live event, which was scheduled to be held August 4–7 in San Diego, California.

Study Confirms Stroke Patients Are Significantly Delaying Treatment During COVID-19 Pandemic
May 28, 2020—The Get Ahead of Stroke campaign from the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery (SNIS) announced the publication of data showing ischemic stroke patients are arriving to hospitals and treatment centers an average of 160 minutes later during the COVID-19 pandemic, as compared with a similar timeframe in 2019.
