KEY FEATURES

  • Treats calcium while preserving the media
  • Treats large vessels through small 4-, 5-, or 6-F sheaths
  • Expands access site options with 4-F introducer compatibility

The Diamondback 360 Peripheral Orbital Atherectomy System (OAS)enables peripheral artery disease intervention by treating multiple vessel sizes via a single crown. In addition, the Diamondback OAS, available with three crown styles, offers a low-profile sheath as small as 4 F, enabling treatment from multiple access sites. The Diamondback OAS crown orbits 360˚, reducing occlusive atherosclerotic tissue, including calcium. This plaque modification changes compliance, allowing for low-pressure percutaneous transluminal angioplasty inflation, minimizing vessel damage, and preserving future treatment options.1,2

The Diamondback 360 PAD Systems are percutaneous orbital atherectomy systems indicated for use as therapy in patients with occlusive atherosclerotic disease in peripheral arteries and stenotic material from artificial arteriovenous dialysis fistulae. The Systems are contraindicated for use in coronary arteries, bypass grafts, stents, or where thrombus or dissections are present.
