Avicenna.AI’s Neurovascular AI Solutions to Be Distributed Via Sectra’s Amplifier Marketplace
April 27, 2022—Avicenna.AI, a France-based company specializing in medical imaging artificial intelligence (AI), announced a distribution agreement with Sectra, an international medical imaging intellectual technology and cybersecurity company headquartered in Sweden.
Under the agreement, Avicenna’s AI solutions for neurovascular pathologies will be offered through the Sectra Amplifier Marketplace, which is a platform for the contracting, purchasing, and servicing of AI applications validated and verified for use at point of care.
According to the company, Avicenna’s Cina solutions use deep learning to identify, detect, and quantify life-threatening pathologies from CT medical images. The FDA-cleared and CE-Mark approved tools are seamlessly integrated within the clinical workflow, automatically triggering and reporting algorithm results through the systems already used by radiologists.
The AI tools to be included in Sectra’s Amplifier Marketplace include Cina-ICH for intracranial hemorrhage, Cina-LVO for large vessel occlusions, and Cina-ASPECTS (available for European Union only).
