Blackford and Brainomix Announce AI Partnership for Stroke Care

January 25, 2023—Blackford, an artificial intelligence (AI) imaging platform and solutions provider, and Brainomix, an AI-powered medtech solutions company, have announced a strategic partnership to bring Brainomix’s comprehensive e-Stroke solution to the Blackford platform. The partnership will provide access to a portfolio of AI solutions via a single platform.

According to the companies, Brainomix’s e-Stroke AI tools can generate real-time interpretation of more widely available noncontrast CT exams, expanding access to stroke treatments to more rural areas where access to advanced imaging may be limited.

The e-Stroke tools utilize images from noncontrast or contrast-enhanced CT exams to provide physicians fast, effective, and accurate analysis of images. Combined with the e-Stroke mobile app, physicians can quickly and securely access, review, and share patient images and data to optimize workflow and facilitate faster transfer and treatment decisions.

Brainomix is a spin-out from the University of Oxford in Oxford, United Kingdom. It is a commercial-stage company developing imaging biomarkers and software solutions. The e-Stroke platform, a comprehensive stroke imaging solution, is the company’s first product.
