Crossroads Neurovascular’s Path Balloon Guide Catheter Cleared by FDA
June 17, 2025—Crossroads Neurovascular, Inc. announced FDA 510(k) clearance for the company’s Path balloon guide catheter (BGC) for neurovascular interventions.
According to Crossroads, the Path BGC is fully compatible with a 7-F system to provide procedural flexibility and enable access in smaller and more distal arteries. It is designed to navigate tortuous anatomy and access distal targets during stroke and other neurovascular procedures.
Additionally, the device features an extended tip (2 cm) and provides enhanced kink resistance and stability during exchanges and delivery in challenging aortic arch anatomy. The shaft is engineered for trackability through complex arterial pathways, noted the company.
