Endologix IntuiTrak Delivery System Approved in Japan

December 31, 2012—Endologix, Inc. (Irvine, CA), announced that its distribution partner in Japan, Cosmotec Inc. (Tokyo, Japan), has received Shonin regulatory approval from the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare to market the IntuiTrak delivery system. The IntuiTrak system delivers the Endologix' Powerlink anatomical fixation stent graft for the minimally invasive endovascular repair of abdominal aortic aneurysms. The device includes ergonomic features, a simplified deployment mechanism, and hydrophilic coating to ease access and delivery. The company expects that the commercial use of the IntuiTrak system in Japan will commence in the second quarter of 2013.
