Endoron’s Aortoseal Clinical Development Supported by Funding Round
July 9, 2024—Endoron Medical, an Israel-based medtech company, announced the closing of a $10 million Series A funding round. The funding round was led by Sofinnova Partners, with significant matching contributions from the European Innovation Council Fund.
Endoron specializes in endograft stapling solutions for endovascular aneurysm repair (EVAR).
According to the company, the funds will accelerate the clinical validation of Endoron’s flagship product, the catheter-based Aortoseal endostapling device, through an early feasibility study conducted under an FDA-approved investigational device exemption.
Endoron stated that its technology is designed to seal and secure endografts used in EVAR, particularly in complex procedures. The company’s stapling mechanism is intended to ensure complete sealing of endografts while securely anchoring them to prevent long-term migration and endoleak.
