FDA Clears Teleflex's Arrow Seldinger Arterial Catheterization Device

July 24, 2017—Teleflex Incorporated announced US Food and Drug Administration market clearance for its Arrow Seldinger arterial catheterization device, which the company expects to launch in the United States this year.

According to Teleflex, the Arrow Seldinger device is indicated for short-term use. It is designed to improve patient safety by eliminating confusion associated with catheter identification, reducing the risk of complications from insertion technique, and providing optimal diagnostics leading to effective treatment for patients. Multiple sizes are available to provide customization to each patient, insertion site, and application.
