GE HealthCare Acquires MIM Software

April 1, 2024—GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. announced the closing of the acquisition of MIM Software Inc. MIM Software’s imaging analytics and digital workflow solutions will be added as a part of GE HealthCare’s global medical technology, pharmaceutical diagnostics, and digital portfolio.

According to the company, these offerings—including the MIM SurePlan and MIM Symphony families, MIM Maestro, MIM Encore, and more—align with GE HealthCare’s precision care strategy, which aims to deliver innovative digital solutions across care pathways for more precise, connected, and efficient care across disease states.

The digital artificial intelligence-enabled image analysis and workflow tools spanning multiple care areas including oncology (including radiation therapy and theranostics), urology, neurology, and cardiology.

GE HealthCare will showcase MIM Software solutions at the following global conferences: European Association of Urology in Paris, France; American Urological Association in San Antonio, Texas; European Society for Radiotherapy and Oncology in Glasgow, United Kingdom; American Society of Clinical Oncology in Chicago, Illinois; and Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging in Toronto, Canada.

The press release advised that financial details of the transaction have not been disclosed publicly. GE HealthCare funded this transaction with cash on hand. On January 8, 2024, the company announced it had entered into an agreement for the transaction.
