GE HealthCare’s Allia Moveo Receives FDA Clearance and CE Mark Approval
February 2, 2026—GE HealthCare announced that its Allia Moveo imaging platform for the interventional suite has received FDA 510(k) clearance and European CE Mark approval to be used in cardiovascular, vascular, nonvascular, interventional, and surgical procedures.
According to the company, the three-dimensional imaging solution is intended to enable flexible cone-beam CT for treating vascular and cardiology diseases. Allia Moveo is a compact, cable-free C-arm system that provides an intuitive user interface, and artificial intelligence- (AI-) powered guidance tools, stated GE HealthCare.
The first medical center in the world to complete the installation of Allia Moveo is the Hôpital Marie-Lannelongue in Le Plessis-Robinson, France.
In the United States, the first installation of Allia Moveo was at Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston, Texas.
Professor Stéphan Haulon, MD, a vascular surgeon and Head of Aortic Center and Vascular Surgery at Hôpital Marie-Lannelonguei, commented on the Allia Moveo platform in the GE HealthCare press release.
“My initial experience with Allia Moveo has been incredible, it’s a real game changer,” stated Prof. Haulon. “With Allia Moveo, we had this opportunity to position the system very quickly in any working position that will adapt the best to us. One of the major milestones of this new system is having access to the reconstruction of the cone beam CT with CleaRecon DL, which is AI driven and gives you much better image quality.”
Brad Lembke, MD, President of Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center, added, “We are honored to be the first hospital in the United States to install Allia Moveo, and proud to help advance the next generation of interventional care. This innovative platform enhances how our clinicians navigate complex minimally invasive procedures by improving mobility, image clarity, and workflow efficiency. It strengthens our ability to deliver precise, patient-centered care while supporting our teams with technology designed for the evolving demands of modern interventional medicine.”
