Natec and US Endovascular Launch PTA Balloon Catheters

September 15, 2014—Natec Medical Ltd. announced an exclusive collaboration with US Endovascular (USE) to deliver a range of percutaneous transluminal angioplasty (PTA) balloon catheters to the United States market.

According to the company, this new balloon technology is engineered to address more complex peripheral artery disease, giving physicians the potential to treat more patients with better outcomes, as well as to potentially decrease the need for additional peripheral angioplasty devices. USE will launch three PTA platforms: USE 14-inch rapid exchange and over the wire (OTW), USE 18-inch OTW, and USE 35-inch OTW. The devices are available in size ranges of 20- to 200-mm lengths and 1.5- to 12-mm diameters.
