NDC Acquires Interface Catheter Solutions; to Become Confluent Medical Technologies

August 3, 2015—Nitinol Devices & Components, Inc. (NDC) announced that it has completed the acquisition of Interface Catheter Solutions (Interface). The combined company will become Confluent Medical Technologies, a contract manufacturer of specialized medical devices. The combined company will provide highly precise medical devices for endovascular, neurovascular, transcatheter heart valve, peripheral vascular, otorhinolaryngology, and orthopedic markets.

Interface is a contract manufacturer of balloon catheter systems, specializing in ultra-high-pressure, high-pressure, textured surface, and jumbo balloons in addition to full balloon catheter assemblies.

Confluent Medical Technologies’ portfolio of services includes nitinol component contract manufacturing, balloon component contract manufacturing, balloon catheter assembly contract manufacturing, nitinol core guidewire contract manufacturing, nitinol device design and testing services, balloon catheter design and testing services, balloon manufacturing equipment, nitinol material, and extrusion.
