Nipro Establishes Vascular Division in the United States
April 15, 2021—Nipro Medical Corporation announced the creation of a Vascular Division in the United States that will include vascular and cardiovascular products for procedural and imaging solutions to enhance patient care. The company advised it is hiring account executives in multiple locations across the country to support the new product portfolio.
Nipro Medical, which is headquartered in Bridgewater, New Jersey, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Nipro Corporation, headquartered in Osaka, Japan. Nipro Medical is responsible for managing sales, marketing, and business operations for North and South America. Nipro Corporation has used previous strategic acquisitions and partnerships to bolster its global footprint to include intravascular imaging technologies and vascular therapies, and other breakthrough technologies, noted the company.
According to Nipro Medical, the following products will join the Vascular portfolio:
- Makoto intravascular imaging system from Infraredx, a Nipro company
- Dualpro IVUS+NIRS intravascular ultrasound sound and near-infrared spectroscopy imaging catheter from Infraredx, a Nipro company
- Okay II Y-Connector fixed and hemostatic valve from Goodman Co., Ltd.
- GM-30 inflation device from Goodman Co., Ltd.
- Captus vascular retrieval system from Avantec Vascular Corporation
