Phenox’ Preset 6-50 Mechanical Thrombectomy System to Treat LVO Stroke Is Launched Globally

October 5, 2021—Phenox GmbH, a manufacturer of stentrievers for mechanical thrombectomy based in Bochum, Germany, announced the global launch of the Preset 6-50 mechanical thrombectomy device for the treatment of acute large vessel occlusive (LVO) stroke.

The study by Carmen Serna Candel, MD, et al is available online in Frontiers in Neurology.

In addition to the Preset portfolio, the company’s products included the P64, P64 MW, and P48 MW flow diverters for treating complex intracranial aneurysms and dissections, and the Pconus implant for treating complex, wide-neck bifurcation aneurysms. Additionally, Phenox is the exclusive distributor for the Avenir coiling system (Wallaby Medical Inc.) in the United System and Europe.
