Piccolo Medical Enters Distribution Agreement With Spectrum Vascular
January 13, 2025—Piccolo Medical, which is focused on catheter navigation devices for vascular access procedures, announced an exclusive distribution agreement with Spectrum Vascular, a provider of vascular access and medication management products designed to reduce health care–acquired infections. Spectrum Vascular’s portfolio of venous catheters leverage the Spectrum antimicrobial and BioFlo thrombus reduction technologies.
The press release stated that under the agreement, Spectrum Vascular will serve as the sole distributor of the Piccolo Medical catheter navigation and tip confirmation devices, including the ECGuide catheter guidance technology and SmartPICC product lines. The collaboration is intended to expand the reach of these technologies to achieve broader access for vascular access professionals worldwide.
The agreement is effective immediately and the companies will seek to expand commercialization of their suite of offerings in 2025, advised Piccolo Medical.
