TomTec's products and services support clinicians to increase efficiency and diagnostic quality through automated and reproducible measurements.
With the acquisition, TomTec will be part of Philips’ Ultrasound Business Group and commercialize Philips-branded products for clinical automation, workflow improvement, and enhanced diagnostic quality. Additionally, the TomTec business will continue its vendor-neutral product line and integrate these medical software applications into third-party systems to support clinical needs and routine workflow.
Founded in 1990, TomTec is headquartered in Munich, Germany, with offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia. Completion of the transaction is expected on the day of the announcement. Financial details were not disclosed.
