Spartan Micro’s MC 0165 Microcatheter Receives FDA Clearance

November 29, 2021—Spartan Micro, Inc. announced it has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for the Spartan MC 0165 microcatheter. The MC 0165 provides long lengths with the flexibility to reach the distal anatomy and the support to deliver compatible therapeutic devices. The company noted the MC 0165’s qualities of reach, trackability, kink resistance, and control.

Spartan Micro currently markets catheter access devices for neuro and peripheral vascular procedures. Additionally, the company offers neurovascular and peripheral coils for the occlusion of aneurysms and/or flow diversion of other vascular deformities.
