StentIt Raises Funds for Development of Regenerative Endovascular Implants

April 25, 2022—StentIt announced it has closed a €1.8 million seed investment round. The investment will facilitate further preclinical development and batch production of a regenerative stent for peripheral indications.

Based in The Netherlands, StentIt is focused on the development of regenerative endovascular implants for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

The first target indication will be the treatment of critical limb ischemia. With the regenerative stent, blood flow to the foot will be maintained by securing vascular patency using temporary mechanical support and improving long-term efficacy by inducing vascular repair, stated the company.

The investment was made by Dutch investors NextGen Ventures, Brabant Development Agency (BOM) and the Ten Cate Investment Company.
