Teleflex to Sell Acute Care, Interventional Urology, and OEM Businesses

December 9, 2025—Teleflex Incorporated announced it has entered into definitive agreements to sell the company’s acute care, interventional urology, and original equipment manufacturer (OEM) businesses to two buyers.

Intersurgical Ltd. will acquire the acute care and interventional urology businesses. Two private equity firms, Montagu and Kohlberg, will buy the OEM business.

The transactions were approved by Teleflex’s Board of Directors and are expected to be completed in the second half of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The combined total of the transactions is $2.03 billion in cash—approximately $1.5 billion for the OEM business and $530 million for the acute care and interventional urology businesses—subject to certain closing adjustments.

In February 2025, Teleflex Incorporated announced it planned to separate the company’s urology, acute care, and OEM businesses into a new, independent, publicly traded company: NewCo.

Teleflex RemainCo consists of Teleflex’s vascular access, interventional, and surgical businesses. On July 1, Teleflex announced the completion of its acquisition of substantially all of the Vascular Intervention business of Biotronik.
