TiGER Registry Commences to Evaluate Terumo Aortic's Portfolio of Thoracic and Abdominal EVAR Devices
November 18, 2019—Terumo Aortic announced the launch of the company’s global endovascular registry know as TiGER (Terumo Aortic Global Endovascular Registry). The study will collect a broad range of clinical evidence on the company’s comprehensive thoracic and abdominal endovascular product portfolio.
According to the company, TiGER is a global, prospective, multiarm, multicenter registry evaluating more than 1,000 patients over a period of 5 years. The registry will begin enrolling patients at approximately 40 sites in Europe with plans to expand into additional geographies including the United States, Japan, and Latin America.
Professor Vincent Riambau, MD, Principal Investigator for TiGER, commented in the company’s announcement, “This is a truly unique registry encompassing the complete range of endovascular solutions for the entire aorta. This will provide an unparalleled perspective on the ‘real-world’ results of aortic endovascular procedures.”
