Toshiba Partners With Ziehm to Provide Fixed and Mobile C-Arm Imaging Systems
December 1, 2015—Toshiba America Medical Systems, Inc. announced a partnership with Ziehm Imaging Inc. This strategic relationship offers Toshiba’s customers a broader range of vascular and surgical imaging technologies, with access to mobile C-arms from Ziehm Imaging. Likewise, Ziehm Imaging customers can benefit from the fixed C-arm systems of Toshiba’s Infinix product line.
According to Toshiba, mobile C-arm technology allows for portable and cost-effective solutions for interventional and surgical imaging. The company stated that Ziehm Imaging, which is a leader in mobile C-arm technology, offers the flexibility, efficiency, and advanced safety features to help Toshiba customers provide the right imaging and treatment for their patients’ needs.
Toshiba’s Infinix line will give Ziehm Imaging customers the image quality, flexible system mechanics, and patient safety features that are necessary for more complex cases. Product offerings in cardiac, neurologic, and combined angiographic and computed tomography imaging will give Ziehm Imaging customers the right capabilities for a variety of situations, stated Toshiba.
