July 14, 2026—Vesalio announced the appointment of Greg Cook as Chief Commercial Officer, responsible for leading the company’s commercial strategy, market development, sales, marketing, and commercial operations. The company advised Cook will play a key role in supporting its commercial expansion of its thrombectomy platform across neurovascular, coronary, and peripheral vascular markets.
According to the company, Cook has more than 20 years of medical device experience. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Sales at Philips Image Guided Therapy Devices, where he led United States commercialization of the VeriSight intracardiac echocardiography platform. Previously, he led Philips’ Cardiac Lead Management sales organization.
“Greg brings the commercial leadership, market development expertise, and physician relationships that align with Vesalio’s strategic priorities,” stated Chief Executive Officer Steve Rybka in the company’s press release. “His experience building commercial organizations and introducing innovative technologies to treat vascular disease will be a valuable asset as we expand our thrombectomy platform, which uniquely addresses the full range of challenges in clot capture and removal.”
