Vesalio's NeVa Neurothrombectomy Device Earns CE Mark Approval

October 31, 2017—Vesalio, LLC announced CE Mark approval of its first product line, the NeVa neurothrombectomy platform for the treatment of strokes. The NeVa mechanical thrombectomy technology was designed to improve “first-pass” success, by effectively capturing and removing a clot that creates a sudden blockage in the blood flow to the brain.

The company advised that it will initiate the product launch in Europe. Vesalio was founded in 2013 and is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee.
