June 12, 2026—WaveClear Vascular, developer of the Resolution cavitation system, announced that it has entered into licensing agreements with two Chinese medical device companies for Resolution, a 6-F catheter-based thrombectomy platform for the treatment of peripheral vascular disease.

The companies are Botong Medical Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. and Liaoning Langsheng MedTech Co., Ltd. The press release stated that the agreements are structured as nondilutive transactions to WaveClear.

WaveClear advised that under the agreements, Botong and Liaoning Langsheng will commercialize the WaveClear Resolution cavitation system technology in the People’s Republic of China.

The press release noted that the agreements include the ability for the Chinese companies to share their future research and development and manufacturing efforts with WaveClear. Additionally, the partnerships extend the reach of WaveClear’s technology into China’s peripheral vascular intervention market through experienced local partners with established regulatory, clinical, and commercial capabilities. These capabilities will strengthen WaveClear’s plans to strategically scale its business while allowing it to remain focused on advancing the Resolution cavitation system in its core United States market, advised the company.

Currently, the Resolution cavitation system is not cleared for distribution in the United States.
