February 11, 2014—Findings from the GAIA study, which sought to evaluate the safety and performance of the Igaki-Tamai biodegradable stent (Igaki Medical Planning Company, Kyoto, Japan) in patients with occlusive superficial femoral artery (SFA) disease, were published by Martin Werner, MD, et al online ahead of print in the Journal of the American College of Cardiology: Cardiovascular Interventions.
