Bendit17 Steerable Microcatheter Cleared by FDA
December 10, 2025—Bendit Technologies, an Israel-based developer of a steerable microcatheter platform, announced that the FDA has granted 510(k) clearance for the Bendit17 microcatheter for use in complex vascular procedures, including neurovascular and peripheral endovascular interventions.
According to the press release, the Bendit17 microcatheter enables controlled navigation through complex anatomies with or without a guidewire using real-time, three-dimensional steering while maintaining stability, control, and ease of use.
The company stated it will initiate the first commercial clinical procedures with the device in the United States in January 2026. Additionally, Bendit noted it is pursuing regulatory clearances in other global territories.
