Imperative Care Partners With Proximie in Development of Telos Robotic System for Stroke Treatment

July 15, 2025—Proximie, a health technology platform digitizing operating rooms, and Imperative Care announced a partnership for the development of an Imperative Care robotic surgical system to treat ischemic stroke.

According to the press release, the partnership is intended to support physicians in the use of Imperative Care’s Telos robotic-assisted technology platform. Telos, which is currently in development, is designed to enable aspiration thrombectomy procedures both on-site and remotely (via telesurgery) to treat stroke patients.

As noted in the press release, the Telos platform integrates Proximie’s software development kit (SDK). The SDK allows audio, video, and telemetry data to be shared with the physicians performing the procedure through a customized, Telos-specific tenant of the Proximie platform.

Additionally, Proximie’s SDK allows technology developers to obtain data on how devices perform in real-world surgeries, thereby contributing to the development of new technologies and robotic surgical systems. Proximie also uses the SDK in the company’s own plug-and-play hardware products, stated the press release.
