Codman Neuro Launches 7-F Envoy DA XB Guiding Catheter

July 30, 2014—Codman Neuro, part of DePuy Synthes Companies of Johnson & Johnson, announced the launch of the Envoy DA XB distal access guiding catheter and the 7-F Envoy guiding catheter for neurovascular procedures.  The announcement was made at the 11th annual meeting of the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery in Colorado Springs, Colorado, where Codman Neuro is featuring the new device alongside its portfolio of neurovascular solutions, including microcoils, vascular reconstruction devices, and the full line of Envoy guiding catheters.  According to the company, the Envoy DA XB device enables access to more distal anatomy and is designed to provide additional proximal support of the catheter when more stability is required.
