ATTRACT Trial on DVT Treatment Completes Enrollment

January 21, 2015—The Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR) Foundation announced that Principal Investigator Suresh Vedantham, MD, et al have completed enrollment in the ATTRACT (Acute Venous Thrombosis: Thrombus Removal With Adjunctive Catheter-Directed Thrombolysis) trial, which is sponsored by the National Institutes of Health.  The trial accrued its originally planned cohort of 692 patients, who were enrolled at 56 hospitals.
